Altoona falters at home

The Altoona boys soccer team fell to 8-9 on Saturday, losing 7-3 to Selinsgrove in high school action at Mansion Park.

Gavin Lamborn had two goals and an assist for Altoona, which trailed 4-0 at halftime to the Seals (12-5-1).

BCC triumphs

BLOOMSBURG — Blair County Christian captured the Allegheny Christian Athletic Conference title on Saturday afternoon, thanks to a 7-2 win over Northumberland Christian.

The Bobcats (14-1) will play in the national tournament in Ohio starting this Wednesday.

Davis Dull had three goals and an assit for BCC, which outscored Northumberland, 6-2 in the second half. Teammates Colden Snyder and Dalton Snyder each added two goals and an assist.
