Johnston earns first win of season

Johnston Realty picked up its first win of the season, beating Pro Fab Solutions, 7-3, in a Greater City League/AAABA game at Juniata Wednesday night in local baseball action.

Austin Lewis had two hits and two RBIs for Johnston, which led 3-0 after three innings. Teammate Aiden Steinbugl added three hits while Trevor Manley contributed two hits and an RBI. Brendan Baney added two hits and an RBI.

Sheetz improved to 4-0 in the Kelley Federation League, thanks to an 11-1 win in five innings over Park Home at Vets Field.

Jacob Detwiler, Brayden Harbaugh and Kyle Wilson each drove in two runs for Sheetz, which led 8-0 after one inning. Harbaugh had three hits to go with two from Detwiler and two more from Dalton Gochnaur.
