Central Mountain comes up short in 9

From Mirror reports

Central Mountain threatened several times but could never break through in a 1-0 loss to Bethel Park Monday in the PIAA Class 5A semifinals at Peoples Natural Gas Field.

Bethel Park’s David Kessler hit a one-out triple to right in the ninth, and the ball got past a diving Wildcat player and Kessler scored on a throwing error.

The play spoiled an excellent performance by Central Mountain starter Aidan Major, who threw eight shutout innings and allowed just three hits.
