CAMP HILL — Aidan Steinbugl induced a bases-loaded pop out to end the game as Altoona held on for a 5-2 win over Cedar Cliff Monday afternoon in high school baseball action.

Marcus Day homered, Matt Moyer singled and doubled and Lucas Muffie drove in two runs for the Mountain Lions (5-5), who handed Cedar Cliff its fourth loss against 10 victories this season.

NBC gets big win

SIDMAN — Winning pitcher Logan College drove in five runs and had two hits, including a double, as Northern Bedford handed Forest Hills just its second loss of the season, 9-5, in a non-conference matchup.

Andrew Lazor tripled and scored three runs for the Black Panthers, and Brooks Snider had a pair of RBIs.
