Hollidaysburg unbeaten streak reaches 16
JOHNSTOWN — The Hollidaysburg boys tennis team improvd to 16-0 Thursday, thanks to a 5-0 win over Richland in high school action.
The Tigers swept singles play, thanks to Nathan Barton, Jadd Younes and Haddy Obeid. Barton beat Viggy Elangoven, the District 6 2A singles champion. In doubles play, Trent Gallagher and Ben Johnson, along with Paul Rose and Nolen Tyndall, both won by forfeit.
Earlier on Thursday, Barton and Johnson teamed up to win the District 6 3A doubles championship, then made the trip to Johnstown for the afternoon match with the Rams.

The Mountain Lions swept the singles matches, thanks to Nick Schimminger, Kyle Murray, Josh Adams, Ivan Koehle and Mason Auker.
