Tigers’ Gampe has big day with bat

DuBOIS — Winning pitcher Caleb Gampe had a pair of hits, including a three-run home run, and finished with four RBIs to lead Hollidaysburg to a 9-2 triumph over DuBois Tuesday afternoon in high school baseball action.

Bryce Martellacci finished with a pair of doubles and two RBIs for the Golden Tigers, and teammate Tyler Faber hit a solo home run.

Hollidaysburg, which broke the game open with a seven-run third inning, improved to 6-2 while the Beavers fell to 4-6.

Portage cruises
