BELLEFONTE — The Tyrone Area High School boys soccer team upset top-seeded Bellefonte, 4-3, Monday in the District 6 Class 3A semifinals.

Alex Taylor’s goal in the final seconds completed a comeback for the fourth-seeded Golden Eagles, who were down 3-1 in the second half.

Tyrone will face Hollidaysburg for the district title at 8 p.m. Thursday at Altoona’s Mansion Park.

Heights defeated

PATTON — Matt Knepp’s overtime goal lifted Bald Eagle Area to a 1-0 win over Cambria Heights in the District 6 Class 2A boys soccer semifinals.

Heights finished its season at 9-6.
