Sarver sparks AAHS road win

LEWISTOWN — Morgan Sarver scored three goals to help Altoona edge Mifflin County, 4-2, and improve to 9-0 in high school girls soccer action on Monday.

Darrian Berkheimer scored Altoona’s other goal, and Nicole Hawk assisted on two goals. Aubrey Strohecker had both of Mifflin County’s goals.

Hollidaysburg improved to 6-3 while State fell to 0-8.

Hope Callahan finished with three saves for the Lady Marauders (11-1), who led 3-0 at halftime.

The Lady Lions dropped to 2-10.
