Raabe delivers in Tyrone’s win

ROARING SPRING — Kelton Raabe scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, as Tyrone edged Central, 4-3, in high school boys soccer action on Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles improved to 3-5 while Central dropped to 1-7.

Andrew Tornatore and Alex Taylor each had a goal and assist for Tyrone, and Bradon Kensinger had two goals for Central.

Tigers fall in OT

HOLLIDAYSBURG — The Hollidaysburg boys fell to 3-2 with a 2-1 overtime loss to State College.

Braden Callahan scored for the Tigers off an assist from Ryan Frank. Evan Shale made 17 saves in goal for Hollidaysburg.

State College is 2-0.

BEDFORD — The Bedford boys beat Chestnut Ridge on Tuesday, 12-1.

The Bisons, who scored nine goals in the second half, improved to 7-0. The Lions fell to 2-3-1.

CC edges Heights

PATTON — Abby Thomas’ goal in the second half lifted the Central Cambria girls to a 2-1 victory over Cambria Heights.

The Lady Red Devils are 4-5 while Heights dropped to 4-4.

Lady Devil keeper Chloe Croft had nine saves and also forced a missed penalty kick.

Robyn Casalena had a goal and four assists for the Lady Bisons. Keeper Lindsay Mowry made six saves in the shutout.
