Lady Huskies go four sets to earn victory

EBENSBURG — Bishop Carroll defeated Chestnut Ridge in four sets, 25-18, 15-25, 25-21, 25-16, in high school girls volleyball action on Thursday.

Makaylah Koscho collected 34 assists for the Lady Huskies, Ellie Long had 17 kills and six blocks, and Madita Dieseler added 11 kills and four digs.

Heights’ Kendall Conrad had 12 kills, and Kadence Delavelle had seven digs.

Olivia Smith added 17 assists for the Lady Hornets.

Makenna Bauer recorded her 500th career kill and finished with 19 for the Lady Eagles. Reagan Irons delivered 17 digs and eight kills, and Maddy Rockwell added 24 assists and 15 digs.

JV: Philipsburg-Osceola, 26-24, 19-25, 15-12. Tyrone is 10-1.

BEA topples Central

WINGATE — Bald Eagle Area downed Central in three sets, 25-20, 25-7, 25-17.

Brinley Bowers collected 10 assists, and Addie Smith had five kills for Central.

Portage prevails
