Hollidaysburg tennis picks up victory No. 9

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Hollidaysburg swept Tyrone, 9-0, in high school girls tennis action Wednesday afternoon.

Gretta Rhodes, Ella Jodon, Lydia Lieb, Rachel Gallagher and Jennifer Lasek won singles matches, and teams of Regan McKee and Talie Delerme, Megan Ferris and Nina Meadows, Ava Sheetz and Ella Rabel and Lydia Um and Madeline Waibel won for the Lady Tigers.

C-K tops Valley

CLAYSBURG — Claysburg-Kimmel topped Juniata Valley, 25-23, 15-25, 25-15, 25-12, thanks to 11 kills from Rebekah Claar, 16 assists from Harleigh Cavender and 31 service points from Ally Dicken.

Emma Musser had 21 kills, seven blocks and 10 service points to lead the Lady Hornets.
