Black, Altoona keep rolling

H.S. boys soccer

Kade Black scored three goals for a hat trick and had an assist in Altoona’s 6-0 win over McKeesport Saturday at Mansion Park in high school boys soccer action.

Altoona keeper Brennen Dugan recorded his sixth shutout of the season as the Mountain Lions improved to 8-1. Austin Kravetz also scored two goals, and Graham Black scored once and assisted on another.

Panthers prevail

LOYSBURG — Evan Coffey’s goal in double overtime with assistance from Reyan Imler gave Northern Bedford a 2-1 victory over Southern Fulton.

Levi Wiedemann’s goal in the second half for Northern was the first of the game.
