BCO goes up 1-0 in its series

Winning pitcher Mark Saxman struck out 10, had two hits and drove in another as Blair County Oil topped B&M Contracting, 9-4, in the first game of a Greater City League semifinal series at Vets Field Wednesday night.

Sal Paniagua, Josh Wyandt, Matt Massaro and Tyler Sweeney also had two hits for BCO.

Ray Watt singled, doubled and tripled for B&M Contracting.

Game 2 is tonight at 6 back at Vets.
