Lilly Conrad uses big early inning in getting victory No. 7

LILLY — Conrad Chiropractic/Lilly American Legion jumped on B&M Contracting with four runs in the first inning and eventually pulled away, 11-2, in a battle of the top two teams in the Greater City League Monday.

Brandon Ickes doubled among his two hits and drove in three runs for Lilly.

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Despite giving up seven runs in the last two innings, Hollidaysburg hung on for an 8-7 win over Dry Run in the Western Pa. Baseball League.

Winning pitcher Matt Moyer pitched six innings, giving up two earned runs. Lucas Muffie had two hits and four RBIs for Hollidaysburg, and Gabe Herman and Mitchell Kratzer had two hits apiece.

Kyler Goshhorn collected two hits, including two doubles, with four RBIs for Dry Run.
