Polamalu a finalist

Former Pittsburgh Steelers Troy Polamalu and Alan Faneca were named finalists Thursday night for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2020.

Polamalu is a first-time finalist.

He is joined by other first-time finalists LeRoy Butler, Torry Holt, Sam Mills, Zach Thomas and Bryant Young.

Also vying for a bust in Canton this August are Steve Atwater, Tony Boselli, Isaac Bruce, Steve Hutchinson, Edgerrin James, John Lynch and Richard Seymour.

As many as five finalists will be chosen on Saturday, Feb. 1, the day before Super Bowl LIV in Miami.
