HUNTINGDON — The Juniata men’s basketball team had a corner jumper at the buzzer by Nate DaCanal waived off as it lost to Goucher, 47-46, Wednesday evening.

Marcus Hall led Juniata with 10 points, while Nick Rigby and Charles Somerville III had eight apiece.

Christine moves closer to record

Finnley Christine scored 28 points and is now 16 shy of the Penn State Altoona career scoring record of 1,191, held by Courtney Carroll

TOWSON, Md. — The Juniata women’s basketball team grabbed its first conference win as it took down Goucher, 86-64, Wednesday evening.

Gracie Stauffer led Juniata with 21 points, while Madison Colyer had 18 and Cassie Mock 13.
