New record set by BC’s Hudkins

LIGONIER — Junior Jackson Hudkins, who had already became Bishop Carroll’s all-time leading scorer (62 goals) earlier in the game, scored a last-second goal to lift his team to a 3-2 win at Ligonier Valley in high school boys soccer action Wednesday.

Hudkins broke the record on a free kick 56 seconds into the game, surpassing the previous mark of 60 goals. Colton Dumm scored the other Husky goal with an assist from Nick Weber.

Paige Snider scored the opening goal of the game for Northern with an assist from Abby Kline. Both of Davis’ goals came in the first half, with three Damsel goals coming in the second half from Summer Adams, Sarah McClelland and Grace Spencer.
