Hollidaysburg boys fall short at home

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Adam Naugle scored a second-half goal on a Drew Desort pass, but it wasn’t enough as Lower Dauphin scored twice in the first half and held on for a 2-1 win on the Tigers’ senior night in boys high school soccer action Wednesday night.

Naugle’s shot was a strike from outside the box. Teammate Evan Shale finished with 16 saves as Hollidaysburg fell to 13-3-1. Ethan Ramirez had a goal and an assist for Lower Dauphin, which improved to 14-3.

Seniors honored for the Tigers included Jesse Clayton, Desort, Jacob Roach, Isaac Helsel, James Roberts, Naugle and Ethan Pinter.
