Everett, Ridge tough on ‘D’ as each pick up win

LOYSBURG — Xander Brown scored a hat trick to lead Everett to an 8-0 win at Northern Bedford in boys high school soccer action on Tuesday.

The Warriors (11-2) jumped out to a 5-0 halftime lead. Mason Cessna added two goals for the winners. Northern fell to 5-8.

FISHERTOWN — Gavyn Walter’s goal with an assist from Evan Roose put Chestnut Ridge up two goals in an eventual shutout of Bedford.

The other goal for the Lions came by way of a Bedford own goal.

The Lions improved to 9-3 while Bedford fell to 11-4.
