Desort, Roach key to Hollidaysburg ‘W’

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Drew Desort and Jacob Roach each scored two goals to lead Hollidaysburg to a 6-2 win over Penns Valley Thursday night in boys high school soccer action.

Braden Callahan added three assists while Desort also had an assist as the Tigers improved to 10-2-1.

Penns Valley, down only 2-1 at the break, fell to 6-7.

BEDFORD — Seth Montgomery and Josh Diehl netted two goals each in Bedford’s win over Forest Hills in Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference action.

Chase DeLong scored the fifth goal for the Bisons. Diehl, Mikey Huffman and Braden Ford each had an assist.

The Bisons, who led 5-1 at halftime, improved to 10-2 while Forest Hills was handed its first loss in six games this season.

HOLLSOPPLE — Collin Yeatts scored the game-winning goal with 20 minutes remaining in regulation to help Northern Bedford top Johnstown Christian.

Yeatts also had an assist.

Eli Grimes and Levi Wiedemann scored once each to put the Panthers up 2-0 in the first half.

Lucas Hayness and Ethan McDowell each scored once for Johnstown Christian.
