Athlete of the week achievement: Keeper Freiwald had five saves in a 3-0 victory over Hollidaysburg, six saves in a 3-0 championship victory over Mountain Ridge in Mountain Ridge tournament and was in goal for a 5-1 win over Brunswick.

Season update: Freiwald is 4-0 in goal with three shutouts and 13 saves. The only goal he allowed was a penalty kick.

Coach Dave McCarter’s quote: “The time he puts in, even outside our normal practices, makes him special. He was already gifted, but he wants to be great, and now he’s at another level. Several colleges are looking at him. Our keeper coach, Travis Young, puts in endless hours working with him.”
