McAllister leads Penn Med

Eric McAllister struck out 11 batters as Penn Med shut out Messner Plumbing, 2-0, in first-round action of the Dean Patterson Little World Series on Saturday at Centennial Field.

Jordan Hance had seven strikeouts in the loss for Messner Plumbing.

n Connor Christman had a home run and five total RBIs as L.S. Fiore beat Kabello Contracting, 15-4.

Aaron Smearman hit a grand slam for four RBIs and struck out five over two innings to get the win for L.S. Fiore.

Brayden Winters had four RBIs for Kabello’s.

n Shawn Gisler and Caleb Dolney each drove in two runs in Hastings’ 8-6 win over Greenwood Meadows.

Shane Gisler fanned six to get Hastings the win. Brody Gartmann had three RBIs for Meadows, and Conner Pike had three hits and struck out three.

n Conner Okonak collected five hits, and Landon Baker struck out eight as Park Home blanked Makdad Supply, 12-0.

Grand Okonak added two hits for Park Home.

n Gavin Dunkle delivered three hits and five RBIs to power Sheetz of the AABA past Jamestown Rod & Gun, 13-1.

Connor Waite had two hits and two RBIs, and Kody Waite drove in two runs. Leland Baer struck out seven to earn the win.

n Vincent Cacciotti had three hits, including a home run, and four RBIs as Masonic Lodges downed Benscreek Club, 12-0.

Michael Cacciotti struck out five and earned the win. Max Belis had two hits, and Jake Kissell drove in two runs.

n JJ Boggs struck out 16 in six innings to help Burgmeier Hauling blank Cumming Motors, 8-0.

Braxton Zitsch, Hunter Simmons and Andrew Sackett each had two hits and two RBIs for Burgmeier.
