Weibley, Glass spark Locker Room win

Brett Weibley drove in two runs, and Joe Glass struck out four batters in Locker Room’s 5-4 win over Sheetz in Greater City League action at Vets Field Tuesday.

Locker Room (6-0) scored all five runs in the top of the sixth inning to go ahead and held on the final 11/2 innings to secure the win.

DeAndre Hood had three RBIs, and Aaron Carothers struck out nine batters in six innings of work to help Park Home to a win over Sheetz in six innings in a George B. Kelley Federation game at Mansion Park.

Joe DeRubeis and Zach Kuhns each had two RBIs for Park Home, and Michael Turiano scored three runs. DeRuBeis and Carothers each scored twice.

CLAYSBURG — Paxton Kling had three RBIs in Claysburg’s win over Somerset in a Cambria County Legion game.

Kyle Glass got the win with four strikeouts. He also drove in two runs as the winners improved to 6-0.

Teammates Hunter Klotz doubled and drove in two runs, and Dylan Focht also had two RBIs.

Matt Gearhart was hit by a pitch to bring in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to lift Gingrich Insurance to a 9-8 win over ERA Sports in Altoona Teener League Lowey Division actionat Seitz Field.

Kolin Hite scored twice and drove in two runs for Gingrich (10-3). Tucker Rossman scored twice and drove in three runs for ERA, and Bryce Eberhart also scored three runs.
