Pens pick offense from Quebec juniors

VANCOUVER, British Columbia — The Pittsburgh Penguins added some offensive firepower when the team drafted left winger Sam Poulin with the 21st overall pick of the 2019 NHL draft Friday night.

Poulin was selected from the Sherbrook Phoenix of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League in Canada.

The 18-year old recorded team highs this past season in goals (29), assists (47) and points (76) while playing in 67 regular-season contests.
