Patton’s Bearer nearly no-hits ProActive
PATTON — Zack Letso had a 3-for-3 performance with two doubles and two runs scored to pace Patton Legion in a 5-0 shutout of ProActive Sports Saturday in a Kelley Federation game at Patton Stadium.
Brandon Bearer had his no-hit attempt broken up in the top of the seventh inning by a one-out double by ProActive’s Brandon Shaffer.
Josh Potutschnig and Cody Schreyer each drove in two Patton Legion runs.

Aaron Chaplin laid down a key bunt in the top of the seventh to set up Brady Hibbs to score two runs and lift Barton’s Plumbing & Heating to a 4-2 win over Bavarian Hall Saturday in Teener Deremer action at Seitz Field.
Lavar Wilkinson struck out eight to get the win for Barton’s (8-8).
George Boutiller had six strikeouts, one walk and allowed just four hits, but gave up to two runs in relief for Bavarian.
n Riley Park got Professional’s Auto Body out of a bases-loaded situation in the bottom of the seventh to get a 7-5 win over Locker Room Friday night in a late Teener Deremer game at Seitz Field.
Parks got the save for winning pitcher Joe Bukowsky, who had 10 strikeouts. Mickey Bianconi had two hits, drove in two runs and scored three for Professional’s.
Locker Room’s Mason Burk was 3-for-3 with a solo home run and four RBIs.
n Ben Staplefeld pitched a complete game with five strikeouts and three hits allowed as M&T Bank slipped past Sheetz in a 1-0 game in Altoona Teener League Deremer Division action from Friday.
