Two AAABA teams return
From Mirror reports
Cumming Motors will again try and challenge Johnston Realty in the Altoona AAABA League this year.
Cumming and Johnston will be the only two AAABA teams and will play each other three times during the regular season and will also play a full schedule against the Greater City Baseball League teams.
Johnston Realty returns 14 players from its team that won the Altoona League last season and advanced to the semifinals of the AAABA National Tournament in Johnstown. Cumming Motors welcomes more than 20 newcomers to its roster.
Johnston and Cumming will begin their seasons on May 30 by facing each other.

Concerns: “We have a large roster, but with players of this age working jobs and involved in travel ball, it will be a challenge to manage the roster and playing time to ensure that we consistently field a strong team that continues to play well together.”
Overall outlook: “I am excited to start the season with these guys. They are a great group of guys that are fun to manage. With the talent on this team, we have the potential to have a great season.”
Team to beat: “Cumming Motors, as it is the other Altoona AAABA team. Locker Room and Lilly have consistently been at the top of the City League, so beating them would show that we are playing well.”
