Softball games postponed

Two more District 6 softball championship games were postponed Thursday.

That means there will be four titles on the line today in Cambria County on what is forecasted to be a rain-free day.

Glendale and Claysburg-Kimmel will meet in the Class 1A title game for the third year in a row at noon today on the campus of Saint Francis University, and Thursday’s other postponed game, Bellefonte vs. Tyrone in the Class 4A championship game, will be played at Mount Aloysius at 3 p.m.

Chestnut Ridge and Bald Eagle Area’s Class 3A title game had already been moved to today at 5:30 p.m. at Saint Francis after it was postponed Wednesday and will remain at that time as will Bishop McCort vs. Marion Center in the Class 2A title game with the teams meeting at SFU at 2:30 p.m.

Prior to Tyrone’s game at Mount Aloysius, Mifflin County will play McDowell in a 6A PIAA play-in game at 12:30 p.m.
