Huntingdon tops Central

MARTINSBURG — Sam Moyer had nine service points and Devin Clapper had four kills, but Central fell to Huntingdon, 25-19, 25-19, 25-17, in high school boys volleyball action Thursday.

Clapper had three blocks, and Eli Lingenfelter had eight assists.

SERVICE POINTS

CENTRAL: Moyer 9, Gahagan 4.

JV: Central, 20-25, 25-18, 15-6.

Mtn. Lions lose

Altoona fell to 3-12 with a 25-14, 25-10, 28-26 loss to Chambersburg at the AAHS Fieldhouse.

Dalton Keller had eight kills and six digs, and Austin Homan added seven kills for the Mountain Lions.

Chris Ball had a team-high 12 assists and 11 digs, Andrew Cassidy led with four blocks, and Matt Furrer had five service points.

ALTOONA: Furrer 5, Keller 3, Thompson 3, Ruggery 2, Ball 1, Cassidy 1.

Records: Altoona (3-12).
