Tomahawks take lead with chance to move on

ATTLEBORO, Mass. –Goaltender Carter McPhail’s 35 saves and timely goals from Oliver Benwell, Cam Hebert and Hunter Toale made the difference as the Johnstown Tomahawks toppled the Northeast Generals 3-1 in Game 3 of the East Division Semis at the New England Sports Village to take a 2-1 series lead.

With the win, the Tomahawks have a chance to advance to the East Division Final tomorrow night at New England Sports Village at 7 p.m.

Should a game 5 occur, it will take place Saturday at 1st Summit Arena at 7 p.m. Should the Tomahawks clinch, Game 1 of the East Division Finals will take place Friday, April 26 at 7:30 p.m. in Johnstown.
