Steelers set to extend Big Ben

The Steelers and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger are in negotiations trying to complete a contract extension before the start of the NFL draft on Thursday, ESPN reported Tuesday.

Roethlisberger will be in the final year of his contract this season. He signed a four-year deal worth $87.6 million in 2015.

Roethlisberger is 37 and has won two Super Bowls with the Steelers, although the team missed the playoffs last season.
