Harman, Huntingdon beat DuBois in three

HUNTINGDON — Darin Harman had a team-high 14 kills, and Huntingdon swept DuBois, 25-16, 25-22, 26-24, in high school boys volleyball action on Tuesday.

Andrew Cooper had a team-leading 21 assists, and Nate Via had six blocks. Alec Cooper and Andrew Cooper each had three service points.

Altoona beaten

State College downed Altoona, 25-17, 25-15, 25-19, at the AAHS Fieldhouse to improve its record to 8-1.

Dalton Keller led Altoona with 11 kills, six digs and five service points, Andy Cassidy had five kills and three digs, Chris Ball had 14 assists, and Micah Hamilton added six digs.


ALTOONA: Keller 5, Thompson 4, Cassidy 3, Ball 2, Ruggery 2, Furrer 1.

Records: State College (8-1); Altoona (1-8).

JV: State College, 25-14, 25-16. Jason Carr-Keefe had six digs for Altoona (0-9).

Central defeated

MARTINSBURG — Forest Hills was in control for most of the night in a 25-17, 14-25, 25-11, 26-24 win over Central.

The Dragons had 19 service points from Sam Moyer, and Eli Lingenfelter had a team-high 10 assists and five service points. Zeb Wyant led Central with six kills, and Jordan Stump had three blocks.


CENTRAL: Moyer 19, Lingenfelter 5.

JV: Forest Hills, 23-25, 25-9, 15-4.
