Athlete of the week achievement: Maxwell won the 400-meter run in 51.85 in Class 2A of the Jack Roddick Invitational at Shippensburg University while also placing third in the 800 run. He also won both of those events in Everett’s victories over Juniata Valley and West Branch earlier in the week.

Season update: Maxwell’s time of 2:03.00 in the 800 is tops in the Mirror coverage area, and his 51.85 in the 400 is second.
