Notes: The Hokies are ranked No. 13. … This is the final game of SFU’s incredibly difficult nine-day stretch of true road games against top 20 teams. They lost at No. 20 UCLA (95-58) and at No. 7 North Carolina (101-76). The Red Flash actually covered the 27-point spread against the Tar Heels. … The Hokies are favored in this one by 20. … ESPN’s matchup projector gives SFU just an 8.1 percent chance to win.
Mirror prediction: Virginia Tech 86, Saint Francis 61
Comment: This is an outstanding Hokies team that can score and, as always under Buzz Williams, will get after it on defense. The Flash will have to make a lot of jumpers to stay within shouting distance, and that’s tough to do on the road, let alone in a third straight top 20 road game.
Mirror prediction record: 4-0
