PennCrest advances past Furrer

Braden Callahan pitched five innings, surrendering just four hits and one run to get the win and help PennCrest Bank pull off a 7-1 victory over Furrer Beverage in Game 2 of the best-of-three Altoona Teener League Deremer Division semifinal series Thursday night at Seitz field.

Penncrest won the series, 2-0, and will advance to the three-game championship series, set to begin tonight at 6:30 against Professionals Auto Body.

Matt Moyer led the PennCrest offense with three RBIs, and Matt Grassi added an additional RBI.
