High school: Altoona Area
Hometown: Altoona
Sport: Track and field
Events: Throwing
College choice: Seton Hill
Other colleges considered: Duquesne, Saint Francis, Towson, Slippery Rock
Why I picked Seton Hill: “The other colleges I considered had a few things I wanted, but Seton Hill seemed to have it all — a great track and field program, supportive coaches, a friendly atmosphere and a six-year doctorate program for physical therapy.”
Greatest high school achievement: “Winning the District 6 Class 3A championship in the discus three years in a row while also breaking the District 6 Championship Meet record in the event in 2017.”
Coach Steve Rhodes’ quote: “Lindsey’s success is the result of the hard work and practice she puts in with her coaches. She is very competitive and always strives to do her best. Seton Hill is a great fit for her academically as well as athletically, and I’m certain she will have a positive impact on the program.”
How I got my start in track and field: “I started in seventh grade as a high jumper, but I hurt my hip flexor while playing basketball. I moved to throwing to continue the sports, and it was a perfect fit for me.”

Stefanie Ketterman: IUP track and field

High school: Everett Area
Hometown: Everett

Why I picked IUP: “I fell in love with the campus when we went to visit, and I know I will receive a great education.”
Greatest high school achievement: “Being the first track athlete at Everett to make it to states all four years.”
Coach Sue Conner’s quote: “Stefanie has had an impact on our Everett track program from day one. She has worked so hard during her tenure here, often times being the last one to leave the track. She has spent her seasons and off-seasons training and competing to try to get to her best. She has worked through some injuries this season, but has had such a great attitude through those tough times, and it paid off at districts. Her goal has always been to medal at states, but if she can stay healthy while competing at states and competing to the best of her ability, she will have no regrets behind her. She has been an amazing leader to her teammates and will be greatly missed by the coaching staff and her teammates here at Everett. We all wish her only the best in the next chapter of her life.”
How I got my start in track and field: “I loved elementary school track and field days, and I always knew that I wanted to do track and field because I had so much fun at the field days.”
Favorite college growing up: None
Other interests: Lifting, swimming, biking
What getting to play in college means to me: “It means that I have the opportunity to continue doing something I love and hopefully one day can share what I have learned with others who also share a love for track.”
Probable college major: Health/physical education
