BEDFORD — Kayden Kutchman and Paige Wess were double winners as Central Cambria took down both Bedford and Bishop Guilfoyle in a Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference triangular meet in high school track and field action on Wednesday.

Kutchman on the 200 and 400 meters in spearheading the Red Devils to a 93-57 win over Bedford and a 110-39 verdict against Guilfoyle. Bedford’s boys topped BG, 107-42, picking up individual wins from Tyler Dawson in the long and triple jumps.

Wess triumphed in the 800 and 1600 on the girls side, leading Central Cambria over Bedford by a 92-57 count and Guilfoyle by a 93-57 score. Bedford’s Jaden Fuller was a triple winner, taking first in the 200, high jump and long jump, as the Lady Bisons notched a 107-42 win over Guilfoyle. BG’s Aurielle Brunner was first in the 100 and the triple jump.

NC boys win two

NORTHERN CAMBRIA — John Paronish won the 110- and 300-meter hurdles along with the javelin to help Northern Cambria top Penns Manor, 99-42. The Colts also defeated Saint Joseph’s, 103-42. Penns Manor topped Saint Joes, 78-45.

In girls action, Saint Joseph’s topped Northern Cambria, 94-50, and Penns Manor, 87-62. The Lady Colts also lost to Penns Manor, 95-51.
