H.S. baseball

05/10/17 By Gary M. Baranec Altoona second baseman Casey Sheetz takes the throw and makes the tag on Hollidaysburg's Lennox Pugh attempting to take two bases on a hit during fifth inning action Wednesday at Hollidaysburg. (Altoona coach Tom Smith was furious with umpire Larry Stitt's safe call)

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Nolan Walters and Brendan Hileman combined on a four-hitter to lead the Hollidaysburg Area High School baseball team to a 6-2 win over Altoona on Wednesday.

Walters worked five innings and finished with six strikeouts. Hileman struck out two. The score was tied 2-2 at the time.

Tyler Treese had two hits and two RBIs for the Tigers, while Lennox Pugh added three hits and an RBI. Cory Storm also contributed two hits and an RBI.
