2022 schedule out for Curve
From Mirror reports
The Altoona Curve released their 2022 schedule on Wednesday, which features 69 home games over the span of its 138-game schedule.
Opening day at PNG Field is set for Friday, April 8, against the Harrisburg Senators. The schedule continues the same format used in 2021 with six-game series against opponents; one series is split in half to accommodate a three-day break when Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game takes place from Tuesday, July 19 to Thursday, July 21.
The schedule features series against the Harrisburg Senators, New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Somerset Patriots, Richmond Flying Squirrels, Bowie Baysox, Erie SeaWolves, Akron RubberDucks and Reading Fightin Phils.
The Curve are slated to play at home on Sunday, July 3, to celebrate America’s birthday in a matchup with Harrisburg.
The month of April features nine home games against the Senators and the Fisher Cats. May features the lone 12-game homestand of the season when the Curve welcome the Patriots and the Flying Squirrels.
June features 15 home games against the Baysox, SeaWolves and the Senators. In addition to finishing off a series with Harrisburg in July, the Curve will host the Flying Squirrels for a second series at PNG Field.
August features 14 home games against the RubberDucks and the Senators.
Altoona wraps up the regular season at home with 10 games in the month of September, finishing with a six-game series against Reading from Tuesday, Sept.–18.
