Curve open 2020 at home

The Curve will open up at home to start the 2020 season, beginning on April 9, and once again will be home on the Fourth of July.

The club released its schedule for next season on Friday. Erie will be on town for three games to start the year on April 9, the Curve will be off for Easter on April 12, then Richmond comes to town for three games the next day.

Altoona will play 13 home games in April and 13 in May, the two coldest months of the season.

The Fourth of July has always been big for the Curve, and the team has been home on that holiday 15 times in its 21 seasons.

Next year will make it 16 out of 22. The club has averaged 8,510 fans on Fourth of July contests over the years.

The final home series next season will be against Harrisburg from Sept. 1-3, then the Curve will close the year with a four-game series at Richmond from Sept. 4-7.

The Curve have 25 fireworks dates scheduled for the season.
