Curve land three on EL All-Star team
Curve’s Eastern League All-Stars
Three Curve players were selected Monday for the Eastern League All-Star Game, to be played at Richmond on July 10. The Curve’s best player and perhaps the best in the EL, 3B Hunter, Owen, would have been on the team, but he was promoted to Triple-A last week.

Season highlights: The fourth-round pick out of Vanderbilt in 2017 got off to a sensational start this season, hitting .394 through May 19. His OPS ranks second in the EL among catchers. He already has career highs in homers, RBIs and doubles (7).

Season highlights: He’s enjoyed a good career after being taken in the 36th round out of Duke in 2015. He leads the Curve and ranks second in the EL with seven wins. He’s also second in the league in innings pitched and 10th in strikeouts.
