HOLLIDAYSBURG — The Hollidaysburg Area High School boys and girls swim teams each took down Penns Valley on Monday in area scholastic action.

On the boys side, the Tigers posted a 105-49 win behind double winners Kaden Henderson (200 free, 100 fly) and Charlie Pollock (200 IM, 100 back). For the girls, Hollidaysburg won 108-61 without the use of a double individual winner in the meet, but did sweep all three relay events.

Heights splits

LORETTO — The Cambria Heights girls topped Homer-Center, 103-46, while the boys fell, 90-36.

Maria Frazer had a standout day for the Homer-Center girls sweeping the 100 and 200 freestyle, both in personal-best times.

On the boys’ side, the Wildcats controlled the meet from start to finish, winning eight of 11 events. Trevor Cameron piled up points with a win in the 200 IM, in a personal-best time, and another victory in the 100 backstroke. Brady Frazer powered his way to first place in both the 200 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke.

RIFLE

TCA wins for first time

NORTHERN CAMBRIA — Tyrone Christian Academy’s varsity rifle team won its first match in program history, 1,044-919, over Northern Cambria on Monday with the help of a team-high 244 from Isabelle Deal. Brionna Walk added a 231.

Anna Griffiths led all shooters for the Colts with a 282.
