25 years ago: Oct. 22, 2000 — Bellwood-Antis blanked Moshannon Valley, 42-0, in high school football, with Chuck Benton throwing three touchdown passes. Also, Hollidaysburg beat DuBois, 35-19, with Craig Abernathy scoring twice by catching touchdown passes from Chad Maines.

10 years ago: Oct. 22, 2015 — In boys high school soccer, Hollidaysburg downed Mifflin County, 3-0, with Noah Kustenbauder scoring twice. In girls play, Tyrone blanked Penns Valley, 4-0, with Riley D’Angelo scoring two goals.
