MECHANICSBURG — The PIAA ruled a state playoff boys basketball game that ended in an all-out brawl as a double-forfeit.

Neither Uniontown nor Meadville will advance in the Class 5A playoffs after the incident during their first-round contest on Friday night. District 3 champ Hershey will receive a bye Wednesday and advance to Friday’s quarterfinals.

Both schools were censured for their actions and will also be removed from next year’s state tourney unless provisions are met.
