n The Allegheny Bilge Rats Shanty Choir visit/singalong will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 9. Instruments may include a thumper-ma-jig, guitar, acoustic bass and more. n Miss Tina from the Blair/Clearfield Association for the Blind will give an educational eye safety program using the book "Reckless Returns: Eye Safety 101" by Cory Geishauser. n Meet Nathan Rupp, ventriloquist, at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24. Nathan is 11 years old and is in sixth grade. He is self-taught and will demonstrate his ventriloquism skills with his special buddy, Charlie. There will be snacks after the program. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
n Thanks to a grant from the Hollidaysburg Area Women's Club, a new Lego club for children ages 6 to 12 will be held at the li-brary. Signups will begin at the end of September; information sheets will be available in the children's room.
