The Altoona Area Junior High School indoor majorettes finished their competition season with a clean sweep.
The girls won the Westmoreland County, Blair County, Indiana County and Cambria County championships.
They were also awarded four overall high twirling awards, three overall high marching and choreography awards and two overall high general effects awards.

The team also received the Indiana County Sportsmanship award.
The girls have been undefeated in the last three years and were recognized by the Altoona Area School Board for their accomplishments.
Their adviser and coach, Peggy Guyer, received the Adviser of the Year Award and was recognized for her 50th year in twirling.
