'Big Bucket Dump' set at DelGrosso's
The family of Tim Edmundson Jr. of Duncansville is organizing a fundraiser on Saturday at DelGrosso's Amusement Park,?Tipton.
The "Big Bucket Dump" will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the pool at Tipton Waterworks at DelGrosso's. The dump will cost $10, and T-shirts will be $15. Money will be collected at the gate. Since the fundraiser is being held before the water park actually opens, there is no additional admission fee during that hour.
Edmundson was diagnosed with ALS nearly threeyears ago. He turned 40 this past April and has a wife and a 9-year-old son. He previously worked/co-owned Bettwy Systems, coached Little League football, Little League baseball and Trackers ice hockey, served in various capacities at his church and has given much to his community.
Since his diagnosis, he has become debilitated physically, but has a sharp mind and great attitude. He believes he will live to see a cure, or God will perform a miraculous healing.
This fundraiser, a spin-off of the Ice Bucket Challenge, will help him and his family. Anyone is welcome and encouraged to attend and to support Tim.
In addition, an account is open at First National Bank "Benefit of Tim Edmundson, Jr". Anyone wanting to make a donation can do so at any branch.
