Cody Glenn Speacht, 26, rural Williamsburg, passed away unexpectedly Monday evening at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh.
He was born in Altoona, son of Barry G. and Marjorie A. (Hoffner) Speacht. He married Heather L. Shultz on March 31, 2012, at the CMA Church, Williamsburg.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Braylyn E. at home; his parents of Williamsburg; two sisters: Ashley M. Dively and husband, Matt, of Water Street and Amy M. Speacht of Williamsburg; his paternal grandparents: Glenn and Joanne Speacht of rural Williamsburg; his great-grandmother, Florence Speacht of Harrisburg; a special nephew, Owen; and a special niece, Giavanna.
Cody was a 2005 graduate of Williamsburg High School. He had been employed as a plant operator for Grannas Brothers, Ganister Plant, for the past 11 years. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Williamsburg, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, hunting and fishing.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. today, May 15, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 16, 2014, Pastor Tiffany E. Marvich officiating. Interment will follow at Williamsburg Lutheran Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Cody's memory may be directed to assist Heather and Braylyn Speacht.
