Carrie Secor and Michael Dooley, both of Dallas, Texas, are engaged to be married.
Miss Secor is the daughter of Ed and Cindy Secor of Treasure Lake, DuBois, formerly of Tipton.
She is a former student at Bellwood-Antis High School and a 2004 graduate of DuBois Area High School. She is a 2009 graduate of Lock Haven University with a degree in accounting.
She is the accounting supervisor for Consolidated Electrical Distributors, Irving, Texas.
Mr. Dooley is the son of Tim Dooley of Blain, Pa., and Lynn Nickell of Reed Point, Mont.
He is a 2003 graduate of West Perry High School, Elliottsburg; a 2008 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with degrees in music composition and music education; and a 2010 graduate of Texas Christian University, Fort Worth, with a master's degree in percussion performance.
He is the website designer/manager for Lone Star Percussion, Dallas, and performs with several groups and ensembles in the Dallas area.
An Oct. 5 wedding is being planned in the chapel at Ana Villa, The Colony, Texas.
