Carrie A. (Baker) Croyle, 93, King, passed away Monday at Huntingdon Nursing & Rehab Center.
She was born in Cherrytown, daughter of the late James and Mary (Dorman) Carbaugh. She married Joseph F. Croyle on March 24, 1972, in Winchester, Va.
Surviving are her husband of King; two daughters: Joanne Riley (George) and Jane Stetchock (John), both of James Creek; a stepdaughter, Deborah Lindsey (Nathan) of King; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and three great-great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers; three sisters; and a great-granddaughter.
Carrie was a 1938 graduate of Saxton-Liberty High School. She attended Morrisons Cove Baptist Church. She enjoyed auctions, camping, crocheting, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Claysburg Union Cemetery.
