Ralph S. Lynn, 88, Martinsburg, formerly of Duncansville and Williamsburg, died Monday at Homewood at Martinsburg.
He was born in Williamsburg, son of D. Lloyd and Blanche (Parks) Lynn. He married Betty L. Kifer on June 25, 1944, in Hollidaysburg.
Surviving are his wife, with whom he shared 69 years of marriage; two daughters: Ethel L. Gunnett and husband, Jim, of Hollidaysburg and Linda K. Witt and husband, Ted, of State College; three grandchildren: Keith Gunnett, Kathy Ridenour and husband, Ryan, and Melissa Witt; six great-grandchildren: Luke and Sara Gunnett, twins Leah and Abigail Ridenour, and twins Madison and Kaitlyn Ridenour; and two sisters: Gladys Detwiler of Martinsburg and Shirley Miller of Hollidaysburg.
He was preceded in death by two grandsons: Brian and Michael Witt.
Ralph and his wife owned and operated a dairy farm in Williamsburg. He was a former member of Williamsburg United Methodist Church and attended Hicks Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville. He enjoyed camping, traveling and hunting.
Friends will be received from 2 until the 4 p.m. funeral service Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at Sorge Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, the Rev. Rich Morris officiating. Interment will be at Salem Reformed Cemetery, Beavertown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Parkinson Foundation of Western Pennsylvania or the Alzheimer's Association.
